Maroon 5 Drop New Single ‘This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherfucker’!
Hot off the heels of their big hit “Sugar,” Maroon 5 have decided to keep the momentum going with the premiere of a brand new song titled “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Motherfucker“! The fiesty track, set to be featured on the upcoming deluxe edition of their fifth studio album V, see’s frontman Adam Levine going in on a girl who has become too self-involved. “I see her dancing in the streets/ sipping champagne on the beach / so expensive when she eats/ Cause she’s so fancy,” Adam sings on-top of a infectious, synth-heavy pulse. “I see her when I go to sleep/ I check my phone when I am weak/ She never posts anything deep/ ‘Cause she’s so fancy.” It isn’t really what I expecting at all, but something about the song is so undeniable – It already sounds like a hit.
