The Canadian crooner trades in the moody and seductive sound we got from last week’s “The Hills” for something more radio-friendly and upbeat on this synth-pop killer, produced by the ultimate hit-making dream team: Max Martin, Ali Payami, Savan Kotecha and Peter Svennson, all of who had in hand in creating The Weeknd‘s smash with Ariana Grande, “Love Me Harder.”
