NERVO, Dev, Kreayshawn & Alisa Unite On Slut-Shaming ‘Hey Ricky’!

Girl Power: The running theme throughout the last two years has remained strong, from Lady Gaga and Legendtina to Rihanna and Shakira to Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé to Nicki, Ariana Grande and Jessie J to Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea.

The fiercest females in the game are all coming together and the world is slowly becoming a better place because of it.

This week, my fave DJ-duo NERVO take hold of the torch with the premiere of their new single, “Hey Ricky” featuring Kreayshawn, Dev and Japanese producer Alisa. It’s a straight-up bonkers club track in which the girls unite to slut-shame a man, in this case, his name is “Ricky“. “Ricky, you’re a star fucker / Dumb tucker, love sucker/ Ricky, you’re a star fucker/ And you blowin’ it,” the girls chant before the song reaches its sweet spot at its twinkly, bass pumping dance drop. To put it simply, “Hey Ricky” slaps real hard – I AM OBSESSED!
