Calvin Harris Dives Into Deep House Territory with Disciples on ‘How Deep Is Your Love’!

While Motion continues on its historic record-breaking run, Calvin Harris has locked his sights on a brand new collaboration with London-based trio Disciples on “How Deep Is Your Love,” which leak last night (because Internet) ahead of its scheduled Friday (July 17) release.

Whereas most of his collaborations lately have been very radio-focused, “How Deep Is Your Love” finds the Scottish superstar toying with a noticeably heavier, layered tech house production loaded with a deeper bass line that bellows under a soaring vocal from Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen, who also co-write the track. The strong house influence is obviously due to the Disciples but the uplifting and melodic stylings of Calvin‘s signature work is still intact, making this the perfect marriage. I’m all for this summer afterhours anthem – LIVING!!!!
