Six years after first collaborating on “Shakin’ It for Daddy” off 2009’s Sex Therapy, Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj join forces once again on the appropriately titled “Back Together“!

The Max Martin-produced single is all levels of disco-pop bliss, layered between stomping robo-pulsations and warm summery layers of synths. The song shimmers with a classic kind of disco sheen that’s because so popular as of late while still relishing in some modern 2015 flare — and of course, thoat oh-so-very-necessarily Minaj verse. The re-team is, quite simply, a no-brainer. It’s undeniably a winning second taste off the R&B crooner’s upcoming eighth LP, following the soulful “Morning Sun.” I’m all for it – Robin got his groove back!
