The Weeknd Gets Super Lit In ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ Music Video!

The Weeknd has been one of favorite R&B acts ever since the release of his fantastic 2011 House of Balloons mixtape, but honestly, I never saw him reaching the level of success he is achieving now, the Canadian crooner is on fire—literally—in his new music video for “Can’t Feel My Face“!

In the clip, directed by Grant Singer, Abel hits the stage at a dimly-lit night club. Initially people are completely unbothered by his Michael Jackson-esque performance until things take a turn for the better when a rando throws a lighter at him and he bursts into flames, causing the crowd to perk up and go wild. He leaves the club, emerging triumphant — a star is born. It’s kind of comedic but in a super cool, unexpected way.
