Nearly a decade since her sophomore album The High Road, a battle with her longtime label Blackground Records, three mixtapes, and a new deal with Atlantic Records later, JoJo has returned to claim her thrown.
And so, this week she’s blessed us with a “Tringle” of singles, three brand new songs from her upcoming third studio album.
The mini-collection offers up 3 reassuring, vocal slaying glimpses into her anticipated LP. From the emotional, Harmony Samuels-produced power ballad “Say Love” to the thoroughly brilliant The Family-produced “Save My Soul” to the Benny Blanco & Jason Evigan-produced “When Love Hurts,” a euphoric house-influenced dance number that brings the joyous feel of Jess Glynne to mind. If any song was going to be a single, it’s this one.
